Clapper bridge

We ended day 1 in Postbridge high up on Dartmoor. Arrived after 115 hard miles and 3 ferries about 10pm as the light was fading. Day 2 started with a visit to the famous clapper bridge - a Dartmoor speciality. 120 miles to go today!
Mark.

Glad to hear you made it - over 10% complete now, well done to all! And THREE ferries already?! - not counting the one you missed? The public has a right to know where these wonders of aquatic transport were to be found - my guess is there were river/estuary crossings of the Fal (King Harry?) and the Tamar (somewhere north of Plymouth?) - then after that I'm perplexed...

Wow! Terrific first day. Three ferries and a clapper bridge.

Can we put the clapper bridge in "50 More Quirky Bike Rides", the followup to the book which will probably earn me enough money to buy a pied a terre?

Oh sorry, I mean a pomme de terre.

Great work guys! We're following you with interest (and a defibrillator)!
