Welcome to the End to End Blog for Rich, Lex, Simon and Mark. That's 3 of us in the picture! We start the trip on the 19th June and will submit several daily blogs and pictures to the site. We start at Land's End and plan to cycle to John O'Groats taking in a few islands on the way.
We're cycling end to end to raise money for Cancer Research UK having lost several parents in the past year. At the time of writing I believe that we have raised nearly £1,500 and I'm sure that we can raise much more.

If you'd like to make a donation then you can do so on-line here: http://www.justgiving.com/alexisjones12 Any encouragement that you would like to give is more than welcome.
Just over two weeks to go now and most of us have been in training. Just need to fettle the bikes now and cure those bottom bracket noises.

Vai vai vai vai vai!!! (Oh, hang on, that's what they shout in Italy - in Cornwall they probably shout something else)

I'll be watching the blog every day with interest. And will be pretending to work while I do it.

Good luck with your first couple of mammoth days!

Rob

If you can cure Mark's "bottom bracket noises" by the end of the trip then I'm sure Jennifer and the rest of the family will be eternally in your debt!

Congratulations on your magnificent achievement thus far! 6 days and over 500 miles (545.5 by my account) plus over 4000 pounds raised for Cancer Research. I am truly in awe. You all look so happy and well too!!
Photos are spectacular and what a delight this technology is that we can 'participate' in this journey with you although we are across the pond!

Sorry to hear about Simon. May his recovery be speedy.
