Some pics from day 6

Couldn't send pics yesterday so here are a few highlights from a gorgeous 88 mile ride through the Trough of Bowland and Lune Valley in good weather. The castle is in a village called Hornby.

Now that I'm back at home three sandwiches and a malt loaf for lunch seem a little excessive!

I'll be back!

Interesting selection of pictures!
Least said about the first one the better!

Who lent you the helicopter for the impressive aerial view in #2?

And #4 - Hornby Castle - apparently it was built for Queen Victoria's train set but she didn't like it so she gave it to the inhabitants of Warrington Town Hall as a country retreat. Or something. (I'm sure I read something about it on Wikipedia...)
